In January 1997, the Russian Tanker has wrecked and almost 6000 tons of the crude oil has spilt in Japan sea. It has drifted to the long coast line of Japan.

This photo installation was intended to represent the oil-spilt beach. We first took the photograph on the beach, then printed out on 40 sheets of cloth. As an exhibition we spread them out on the beach.

The exhibition has toured around and exhibited at 14 locations in Japan.
